BACCALAUREATE

Towards the Future with Purpose

We prepare well-rounded young people and compassionate leaders who, with an innovative mindset and firm values, are ready to build their own future and transform society.

The Baccalaureate program at Sant Andreu aims to provide students with a general education, as well as guidance and preparation to achieve intellectual and human maturity. This enables them to integrate into active life or pursue higher education, whether university studies (via the University Entrance Exam) or advanced vocational training (CFGS).

Access to Baccalaureate studies, which are non-compulsory and not publicly funded, is open to students who hold a Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate certificate.

The Baccalaureate program spans two academic years. This stage is offered in two tracks: Science and Technology, and Humanities and Social Sciences.

Our education goes beyond academic records. We educate based on human and Christian values, placing equal emphasis on curricular excellence and the student’s personal development.

We offer a range of activities: workshops, courses, seminars, outings, practical sessions, radio, Audiovisual Communication, cultural trips, sports days, literary contests (Jocs Florals), recreational days, Solidarity Week, Family Week, preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, etc.

Information and Communication Technologies are present and integrated into each and every subject students take during this stage. Developing their skills using these tools is fundamental for their future.

Students must complete a Research Project, which receives individualized monitoring from teachers. To manage submissions, progress, and resolve queries, students always have the support of a dedicated tutor.

This is a space for pedagogical and personal support designed to guide students in identifying their interests, abilities, and vocations, offering them the necessary tools and information to make conscious and responsible decisions about their future education and career.
